TJ McCormick

VP, Global Creative, CBRE

TJ McCormick is currently the VP of Global Creative at CBRE. TJ is a member of CBRE’s executive marketing team with creative oversight of the internal design team and partner agencies. He is responsible for developing CBRE’s overall creative strategy, brand messaging and design aesthetics across all touchpoints.

Over his 20 year-career, TJ has held creative positions, in both agencies and in-house organizations, where he has developed thoughtful design and branding strategies for Nike, Verizon FiOS, Amazon, Microsoft, JetBlue, NBCUniversal, Marriott, Amazon Kindle and New York Public Radio.

Prior to joining CBRE, TJ served as Partner/Executive Creative Director at Mod Op, a strategic design firm, where he was responsible guiding strategic initiatives, and providing design and creative direction on all Mod Op projects across five offices. As General Manager of Brand Design for JetBlue Airways, his integrated design approach touched jetblue.com, crewmember uniforms, numerous ad campaigns, the design of Terminal 5 at JFK airport and JetBlue’s corporate headquarters in Long Island City, N.Y. His work for JetBlue won recognition from organizations such as the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, and it was featured in Fast Company’s 2010 Masters of Design Issue.


TJ holds a degree in Political Science from Villanova University and a degree in Communication Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia.
