Richard is Managing Director of Blue Ocean Partnership, LLC, a boutique digital consultancy focusing on both marketing and advertising technology. His practice focuses on helping companies enter new markets be they offshore firms looking to enter the US market, domestic firms looking to pursue new markets offshore, or firms looking to expand into new commercial markets. Richard is an expert in digital media and has helped dozens of the world’s leading brands understand the implications of new media in order to grow their businesses. He’s held a variety of senior leadership roles in sales, business development, marketing and product development for notable media brands including: The Wall Street Journal, Yahoo!, Quantcast, Unruly and Westwood One. His focuses is on digital monetization, data & analytics.
Richard has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Arizona and completed an executive education program in product development at the Harvard Business School. He’s an Executive-in-Residence at the University of Arizona helping the students, faculty and the administration better prepare for digital transformation. Richard and his family live in Greenwich, Connecticut.
