Ned Duggan

SVP, Global Marketing, Bacardi

As Senior Vice President for BACARDÍ Rum, Ned Duggan combines a strong business background with extensive experience in the spirits field all over the globe.  A native of Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD, Ned received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Colorado in Boulder.  After college, he moved to Madrid, where he started out teaching English to Spanish-based business organizations, then returned to work in Capital Markets at the Inter-American Development Bank.  He earned his MBA in Marketing & Entrepreneurship from the University of Texas at Austin.

Ned first plunged into spirits with Bacardi in 2005 as an Assistant Brand Manager on the Dewar’s Whiskey portfolio, where he oversaw the American launch of the brand’s Aberfeldy single malts.  Three years later, he moved to Grey Goose Vodka, where he oversaw media and advertising as well as Public Relations, getting the brand featured at such high-profile events as the Academy Awards, the U.S. Open tennis tournament, and the Kentucky Derby.  In 2010 Ned took his talents worldwide, landing in the United Kingdom as Grey Goose’s Global Marketing Manager.  While there, he rolled out a global PR platform and helped to launch the brand’s successful Cherry Noir flavored vodka.

Since 2014 he has overseen brands including Bombay Sapphire, St-Germain, Corzo Tequila and Oxley Gin.  He’s currently based in Miami Beach, where he lives with his wife and two-year-old daughter.
