Max Garofalo

VP, Brand Partnerships, Minute Media

Max currently serves as the Vice President of Brand Partnerships at Minute Media where he oversees the securing and executing of custom branded content and media campaigns for partners across the company’s portfolio. 

Prior to its acquisition in 2019, Max worked as the Senior Director of the brand partnerships team at The Players’ Tribune, having a direct hand in some of the brand’s award-winning campaigns with companies such as AT&T, Best Buy, Kraft-Heinz, P&G, Signet Jewelers and more. 

His passion for sports and media show throughout his career, from his introduction to the industry via a news station (WRNN) internship to his first sales job at Cox Media Group as a Sales Assistant. Directly before joining The Players’ Tribune Max worked at Home Team 

Sports (a division of FOX Sports) for eight years as a Coordinator, Planner and Account Executive with brands like Apple, BMW, FCA, Gatorade and Intel, specializing in linear, digital, and in-stadium sponsorships across the MLB, NBA, NHL, and major NCAA conferences. 

Max has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies, as well as Minors in History and Philosophy from Manhattanville College. 

He currently lives on the Upper West Side in New York City with his wife and 12 month-old daughter where they enjoy exploring the city as a family - taking her to parks, museums, and animal conservations in their free time. They’re looking forward to traveling and spending more time with friends and family in the future.
