A battle proven marketer with a passion for building challenger brands, often from scratch. Matt’s career started as a professional soccer player for the New England Revolution. Six knee surgeries later, he hung up the boots and joined PUMA where he launched PUMA Golf in North America as the founding marketing lead, signing Rickie Fowler and growing the business from zero to $125MM in annual revenue. From there he joined a social media startup, launching industry-first programs for clients like Macy’s, JetBlue, and Starbucks. Becoming a father and navigating the broken childcare industry pulled Matt towards leading the marketing team of “the Airbnb for daycares,” resulting in doubling revenue within 12 months leading to an acquisition. He currently leads the marketing team at LightForce, a Kleiner Perkins-backed, 3D printing technology company revolutionizing the braces industry. In his spare time, Matt is a cold-water surfer, wannabee Iron Chef, and a pretty mean “Daddy Monster” to his little girls, Jo and Vida.
