Marisa Burton currently serves as the Director of Marketing Services for Firehouse Subs. She first joined the brand in 2010 as a Regional Marketing Manager. In her current role as director, Marisa is responsible for leading her team to support the Firehouse Subs Area Representatives in all aspects of marketing. Involved in the day-to-day strategic media planning and execution with the agency of record for the brand, Marisa uses the passion for marketing she first developed as a 12-year-old when she was working to increase subscriptions for her local newspaper on her paper route.
Marisa graduated from NC State with a double Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Spanish Language & Literature. During her career Marisa owned her own small local advertising agency — as well as worked for brand titans like Feld Entertainment (parent company of Ringling Bros. and Disney on Ice) and Popeyes, before finding her niche with Firehouse Subs.
