Head of Brand Social Marketing – Pro & Acquisitions, GoDaddy
Evan currently holds the role of Head of Brand Social Marketing - Pro & Acquired Brands at GoDaddy. In this role, Evan is tasked with unique oversight over the global launch of the GoDaddy Pro sub-brand in social, and building the first unified global social marketing team and program for GoDaddy’s Partners Business, which serves GoDaddy’s strategic acquisitions and web developer and designer customer base. And in conjunction with his core purview, Evan is actively defining the new cross-sectional discipline of digital marketing, brand strategy, and corporate M&A strategy for GoDaddy’s aggressive inorganic growth.
Evan’s career has been rooted in developing and executing robust brand, social and digital marketing programs with large public as well as private brands, both in an agency setting, internally, and as a contracted consultant. Through his rich, diversified background, Evan’s strategic marketing programs have succeeded in driving impact across earned media and owned brand engagement, linear TV ratings, directly-attributed revenue, enterprise-level lead-gen, omnichannel event activation and more.
Outside of his formal roles, Evan is the creator and host of 'The Marketer's MBA’ on Adweek's SMW+ streaming platform, guest lecturer at the University of Southern California and in the CSU system, and has been a featured speaker at renowned conferences including Social Media Week and the Customer Service Summit. Evan also sits on the Advisory Council of the LGBTQ+ non-profit, Reaching Out MBA.
Evan has received his B.S. and MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
