E.G. Fishburne joined Merisant in 2018, as the head of North America marketing, leading Equal, Whole Earth, and Pure Via brands. He started his marketing career at Kraft Foods and spent more than a decade at PepsiCo, where he worked in a variety of brand management and innovation roles for iconic brands including Gatorade, Quaker, Rice-A-Roni, Aunt Jemima, Velveeta, and Grey Poupon. Before becoming a marketer, E.G. spent nearly 8 years serving in the U.S. Army as a Blackhawk helicopter pilot and achieved the rank of Captain. He earned his MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his BS in Environmental Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
