Director of Marketing Communications & Public Relations, Harman International

As the Director of Communications and PR, Denise oversees external and internal communications, marketing communications and PR campaign strategies for HARMAN’s Lifestyle division and its global brands – including JBL, Harman Kardon, Mark Levinson, and more. In her role, she leads her team and develops campaigns that elevate consumer awareness and positions HARMAN’s brands to reach target key demographics through storytelling, influencer strategy and campaign messaging.

Prior to her current role, Denise led U.S. Lifestyle PR at HARMAN, designing and executing PR programs to raise awareness and increase brand recognition and purchase consideration for HARMAN’s consumer lifestyle audio brands.

Denise has over 15 years of experience developing press strategies, marketing campaigns and collaborations as a senior marketing manager at best-in-class brands like Bloomingdale’s, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and BMG.

She received her BS in Business Management and Marketing from the Pace University Lubin School of Business. She has received a number of personal and team awards throughout her

career, including – Marketing Team of the Year (The Stevies), PR Person of the Year (Ragan and PR Daily), and was named to PR Week’s 2020 Women to Watch list, among others.
