For over 15 years, David Oksman has been at the intersection of commerce, social advocacy and digital disruption. As the Head of Marketing for Samsonite U.S., David currently oversees brand operations for iconic names such as Samsonite, American Tourister, High Sierra and Hartmann.
Fueled by a potent blend of coffee and entrepreneurial spirit, he believes that for-profit brands can be the catalyst for significant social change. He has developed innovative strategies to amplify top and bottom-line performance for businesses of all sizes – from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups just finding their voice.
David held numerous leadership positions at Reebok including Head of U.S. Marketing and led Global Media & Strategic Communications. He served as President and CMO of Luca + Danni, a digitally native, vertically integrated American-made jewelry brand and headed E-Commerce and Marketing at The Life is Good Company, a Boston-based lifestyle and apparel brand with a mission to spread the power of optimism where he merge business innovation with the philanthropic focus of helping kids affected by trauma.
He serves on the Forbes Business Council, was a start-up advisor for Babson College Summer Venture Program, has been named a Social Media Star and was recognized by both Sporting Goods Business and Brand Innovators as a “40 under 40.” With a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College, David resides in Foxboro, Massachusetts with his wife and son.
