Danisha is a connector by nature and practice. She has over a decade of experience working in media. She started in 2007 at AKQA, where she created digital media campaigns for clients like eBay, the Gap Inc. portfolio, and Yahoo SMB! While there, she was awarded the Best Social Media campaign of the year for Old Navy (2013) and the 32 under 32 SF Egotist award (2014).

She went on to become the first dedicated paid social lead for Wells Fargo. After successfully developing WoW at Wells Fargo, at eDriving she launched the first integrated marketing campaign promoting the first-ever B2B and B2C mobile solution to enhance and reward safe driving practices.

Currently, as the National paid social lead for Digitas, she oversees a practice of paid social experts who create scalable, holistic strategy and end-to-end activations for the agency and its clients. Her passion for growth shines as she helps clients expand their use-cases for social, with an authentic audience and culture-first approach, and this type of thought-leadership is featured in industry-leading publications such as eMarketer, Business Insider, and Adweek. Her work has also led to panel features such as Diversifying Tech & Womxn of Color Championing Change in Digital Media (General Assembly), Diversity & Inclusion in Marketing with a Social Perspective (Masterclass), Identifying Emerging Leaders (Tiara International LLC), Shift Your Digital Ad Spend (Blavity Inc) and more.

Through Digitas, Danisha has taken the leadership role for Publicis Groupe’s San Francisco VivaWomen of Color chapter. In this role, she develops programs that focus on authenticity, professional development, impact & advocacy, and service & outreach for women of color across the diaspora. Since assuming her role, the chapter has increased local membership by 3x.For her accomplishments, she was awarded Campaign US’s Female Frontier Championing Change (2020) and the recipient of Digitas San Francisco’s Heart of the Company award (2020).

It doesn’t stop there; Danisha serves in various volunteer roles. She is on the executive board for ColorComm, youth advisory board mentor for Girl Ventures and the proud mom of Kamaiyah and Ke’aun.
