Dan Ackerman, VP of Global Client Development at The Trade Desk, is responsible for the growth and development of some of the company's most important global client partnerships.
Dan is a TV and digital advertising industry veteran working at the forefront of developing advanced TV advertising planning, targeting, and analytics technologies. He’s led development and go-to-market for platforms and services at late stage private technology companies and large public media companies, including ViacomCBS, Verizon Media, WideOrbit, and Samba TV. Prior to joining The Trade Desk, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at TV data and analytics company, Samba TV, overseeing the global revenue operation. Before Samba, he led the Advance TV practice for Verizon Media as SVP, Advance TV. Dan is a graduate of The University of Maryland at College Park. He currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with his family.
