Christian Betancourt is a results-oriented marketing leader and digital strategist with 20 years of experience leading impactful, results-oriented marketing programs. His professional passions exist at the intersection of marketing, technology, data and human behavior.
Currently, Christian serves as the Vice President of Marketing for Mayweather Boxing + Fitness, the best-in-class boutique fitness franchise co-founded by undefeated boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather Jr. In this role, Christian leads franchise-wide marketing initiatives including advertising, social media, sponsorships/partnerships, public relations, branding, consumer experience and digital platforms.
Before joining Mayweather Boxing + Fitness, Christian led digital advertising and social media programs for several franchises at Self Esteem Brands (including Anytime Fitness, Waxing The City, The Bar Method and Basecamp Fitness). While managing national advertising for Anytime Fitness, Christian lead several award-winning advertising campaigns using digital omni-channel approaches for the 3,000+ location franchise.
Prior to working in franchising, Christian held several marketing, public relations and digital roles across several industries (financial services, CPG, higher education, politics) and in-house for brands like Best Buy, Thomson Reuters and Securian Financial.
Christian holds a Master of Business Administration in Brand Management from the University of St. Thomas and Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Political Science from the University of Minnesota. He currently resides in West Palm Beach, FL.
