Last night’s Super Bowl was projected to reach a record-breaking audience and boasted billions of dollars in betting revenue. Super Bowl LVI planned to attract 184.5 million viewers who collectively budgeted to spend $14.6 billion on game accessories, with the most popular category being food & beverages, according to data from the NRF and Prosper Insights & Analytics. However, as a newcomer to many states, The American Gaming Associations wagered that sports betting will have fans gambling a record $7.61 billion (est.) on this year’s big game, up nearly 80% from last year.

The famous Budweiser Clydesdales returned after a one-year hiatus, marking their first break from Super Bowl advertising in 37 years. Meanwhile, Bud Light NEXT made its NFL Primetime debut, taking viewers to Guy Fieri’s Flavortown.
