Mary Kay Names CMO Sheryl Adkins-Green its new Chief Experience Officer

Mary Kay Inc.’s chief marketing officer Sheryl Adkins-Green has been appointed the iconic beauty brand’s chief experience officer, a new position for the company. 

In this new role, Adkins-Green will combine research, data analytics and trend forecasts to anticipate the needs of the company’s “Independent Beauty Consultants” and their customers in more than 35 countries. She will continue to lead Mary Kay’s Global Brand Experience Division as well as the company’s in-house creative agency that is responsible for the marketing campaigns, assets, social media content and digital communications for the company’s sales representatives.

Adkins-Green has been with Mary Kay since 2009. Prior to that, she held executive positions with Alberto-Culver, Cadbury-Schweppes, Citigroup, and Kraft Foods. She has a Bachelor of Science in retailing from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. She is also actively involved with Mary Kay’s charitable arm, the Mary Kay Ash Foundation, whose two-fold mission includes finding cures for cancers affecting women and eliminating violence against women.
