Kern Egan is President, Consulting for SPORTFIVE, one of the world’s largest sports and entertainment marketing agencies. Kern’s group manages the partnership marketing initiatives of a global client roster, including Apple Pay, Bridgestone, Citi, MetLife, Metro by T-Mobile, Moet Hennessy, PointsBet, Red Bull, and Sands Hotels & Resorts.

He began his career in management consulting at Arthur Anderson LLP, working with  multinationals in corporate finance, loss recovery, and litigation consulting. From there,  Kern moved to an Omnicom agency, where he handled sports and sponsorship initiatives  for brands including CBS Sports, McDonald’s, Motorola, and True Value Hardware.

He joined The Richards Group in 2003, leading the Motel 6 marketing efforts – named by  Advertising Age one of the top 100 Campaigns of the Century – and, in short order,  founding Haymaker, which became one of the country’s fastest-growing partnership and  property marketing agencies. Haymaker worked with brands including Advance Auto  Parts, Bridgestone/Firestone, Farmers Insurance, Gander Mountain, H-E-B, Hyundai, Nike, Ram Trucks, Russell Athletic, The Salvation Army, and T.G.I. Friday’s.

Kern is an advisor for Cal-Berkeley’s SkyDeck technology accelerator and is the founder  and chairman of Dallas Influencers in Sports and Entertainment (DISE), the area’s leading  industry nonprofit, granting over $700,000 to 41 local youth charities.
