Snickers Ice Cream Chills Out with Bryce Young

Carolina Panthers fans may be cheering for Bryce Young next fall, but Snickers is hoping fans all over the country will be chanting for “Bryce Cream,” as the brand has partnered with the NFL’s number one draft pick on a Snickers Ice Cream treat.

The brand is offering limited-edition “Snickers Bryce Cream Bars,” through a sweepstakes on its website through May 1. The product contains the same peanut butter ice cream, caramel and peanuts in a chocolate shell as the original ice cream bar, but is in a limited-edition package inspired by Young that features his name on the bars’ individual labels.

“It’s a dream come true to see a Snickers Ice Cream bar with my name on it,” said Young, in a statement. “I am beyond excited to be part of the 2023 NFL Draft alongside Snickers Ice Cream and can’t wait to share our Snickers Bryce Cream Bars with fans.”

The brand has also made the product available in the NFL Draft host city of Kansas City, Mo., and in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where Young attended the University of Alabama. The offering coincides with Snickers expanding its long-time partnership with the NFL to include its ice cream products next season.

“Snickers Ice Cream is entering the NFL space as an Official and Proud Sponsor, and there is no hotter prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft that we would rather chill out with this season than Bryce Young,” said Jayesh Shah, Mars Ice Cream Marketing Director, in a release.

As with most top NFL draft picks, Young has become a top marketing prospect, having reportedly also scored deals with Nike and BodyArmor. He has also been fortunate to take advantage of the new “name, image, licensing” rules from the NCAA, appearing as the first college athlete in Nissan’s “Heisman House” campaign.
