What are your favorite brands?
Delta Air Lines, La Colombe, Rayban, Brooks, Lulus, Edwin (Jeans), Nordstrom, Canon, and the NHL.
What do you like to do outside of work for fun?
I've been the official house photographer for State Farm Arena in Atlanta for over ten years. My "audition" for the position was at Taylor Swift, featuring Ed Sheeran as the opener, in 2013. Talk about pressure! She couldn't have been nicer backstage, and the candids are incredible. I fell in love with live music photography from that moment on, and after 75+ concerts, I haven't looked back.
If you could teach a class on any topic, what would it be?
Anything around weather. I've been obsessed since I was a little kid, and if it wasn't for the college math requirements, I'd be a meteorologist right now.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
When the Bills lost four straight Super Bowls in the 90s, my grandfather said to my distraught father, "Son, you don't own the team" and that advice resonated. Some things are out of our control. Learn to accept that.
If you could join any fictional family, which would it be?
The Costanzas. I think I'd be good at the Feats of Strength.
What is the best thing you've bought this year?
It's a tie between a Monos Carry-on Plus suitcase and a Casely Power Pod. If you're a traveler, I highly recommend both products. The Power Pod is especially handy when working all day at events.
