Director of Multicultural Marketing, PepsiCo

Yasmin Grant is currently Marketing Director for the Hispanic Business Unit. Yasmin is tasked with growing Manzanita Sol, a beloved apple soda with Mexican roots, and figuring out how PepsiCo can make inroads with Hispanics in the single serve juice category with Jumex Refreshers, a partnership with Jumex corporation. Yasmin is co-chair of Mosaic Westchester, PepsiCo’s Black Employee resource group, serves on PBNA’s Equality Task Force for Racial Justice, and helps shape the Black agenda in PBNA marketing. She also oversees PBNA marketing’s diversity recruiting strategy.

Yasmin has been with PepsiCo for 7 1/2 years and has had roles in Foodservice Customer Marketing and Innovation and AMP Energy. Most recently, Yasmin served as a Team Leader for the Emerging Restaurant Customer Marketing team leading a $120MM portfolio that included Jersey Mike’s, Firehouse Subs, Panera, and Which Which among others.  In this role Yasmin helped renew key customers and unlocked more innovation and activation opportunities, driving greater business impact.  On AMP Energy, Yasmin lead commercial efforts with the 2015 AMP re-launch, and in Foodservice innovation she developed Stubborn Soda, a new craft soda brand.

Prior to joining PepsiCo, Yasmin did marketing for Sun Products Corporation, a maker of well-known laundry brands. Before business school, Yasmin worked for Eli Lilly & Company in R&D finance and sales.

Yasmin earned her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and holds a BS in Finance from Hampton University.

Yasmin resides in Harlem, New York and is a self-professed “hot sauce connoisseur”. When she is not traveling the world, she is guiding the strategy for Community Justice Project, a Miami Based non-profit that helps with social justice issues, for which she serves on the Board of Directors.
