Ty is the Chairman, Co-Founder and Chief Purpose Officer of co:collective. co: is a strategic and creative transformation partner that designs organizations with purpose at their core. co: has been engaged by Google, LinkedIn, Under Armour, 23andMe, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Microsoft, IBM, the ACLU, Genexa, TIME and MetLife among others.
Ty spends most of his time working within co:’s circularity offering, partnering with clients to define their sustainability strategy and embrace circular business practices.
Ty sits on the advisory board of All Rise, a movement to stop the deforestation of the Amazon Basin, and on the advisory board for Andrew Yang’s Forward Party. Ty is also the host of Calling Bullsh!t, a podcast distributed by iHeart Media, that explores purpose-washing: the gap between what companies say, and what they actually do. Calling Bullsh!t hit #11 in global business podcasts and is in the top 1% of all podcasts.
Ty is an author and frequent speaker on the topics of innovation, business transformation and conscious capitalism. His first book True Story: How To Combine Story and Action to Transform Your Business (2013 Harvard Business Press) offers insight into his theory of StoryDoing. Ty has been named one of the 50 Most Influential Creatives of the past 20 years by Creativity Magazine and Fast Company magazine named him one of the Top Ten Creative Minds in business.
