Tressie Lieberman is the Chief Marketing Officer for Yahoo where she is responsible for global marketing strategy, brand positioning and customer engagement for the Yahoo portfolio of brands. She is focused on brand differentiation, growth and transformation for the iconic internet pioneer.

Prior to Yahoo, she was Vice President of Digital Marketing and Off-Premise for Chipotle. In that position, Lieberman oversaw a team dedicated to building relationships with the brand’s community through social media, Web3, collaborations, influencers, the Chipotle Rewards loyalty program, and CRM. She also led the delivery and catering business and created integrated marketing campaigns to build digital awareness and accelerate sales.

Under Lieberman’s leadership, the loyalty program launched and grew to over 33 million members, and Chipotle established an industry leading digital business. Chipotle is now one of the most buzzed about brands from activations such as the TikTok creator-led menu, being the first restaurant brand on Roblox and dropping fan-inspired collabs like a bespoke product kit with e.l.f. Cosmetics. Chipotle was named to Time100’s Most Influential Companies for being a social media maven.

Lieberman also held leadership positions at Snap Kitchen and Taco Bell. At Snap Kitchen, she served as CMO, leading retail partnerships and overseeing a full brand and menu redesign. During her Taco Bell tenure, Lieberman created an incubator that focused on rapid prototyping, e-commerce, and delivery. She also designed and drove the social media and influencer strategy that positioned Taco Bell to win in youth culture.

Lieberman supports her alma mater, The University of Texas, by being active on the McCombs Marketing Advisory Council. She also serves on the global board for the Mobile Marketing Association. She has achieved accolades such as being named on the Business Insider’s Top Influencer Marketers, Nation’s Restaurant News Power List and Advertising Age Women to Watch.
