As Head of Global Creative Services for IHG Hotels & Resort, Tonya O’Connell leads the in-house creative & production agency for Global Marketing Shared Services. The Creative Services Team is a robust In-House Hybrid agency with Creative Directors, Account & Content Strategists, Copy Writers, Art Directors and Designers. The team is a trusted partner in developing omni-channel creative for IHG’s Masterbrand, New One Rewards Loyalty program and branded content for IHG’s portfolio of 17 global brands.

Prior to IHG, Tonya was Managing Director at Creative Drive, leading bespoke creative content for clients: The Home Depot, Walmart, Asics and Whole Foods. Her previous 17+ years at Turner Broadcasting as VP of Creative Services & Marketing fueled her passion for storytelling and design. During that time she produced award winning marketing campaigns for original series and sports: The Closer – Cable’s All-time Highest Rated Drama, Men of a Certain Age – Peabody Award for Marketing, Promax Gold for the NBA on TNT with Shaq, Lebron and Kidd and Promax Gold for CONAN.

Tonya graduated from The University of Georgia. She has 2 teenage boys and a beloved rescue dog named Molly that she enjoys taking care of in her spare time.
