Global Brand Strategy and Performance for Holiday Inn Brands, InterContinental Hotels Group
TJ Abrams is the Head of Global Brand Strategy and Performance for Holiday Inn Brands at InterContinental Hotels Group. He has over 15 years of experience in marketing and brand management in both US and global roles.
He’s currently accountable for brand growth in 80 countries around the world on Holiday Inn brands that deliver over 25% of total revenue for the IHG portfolio. Over the past 4 years since joining IHG, TJ has worked across the mainstream brand portfolio leading some of IHG’s biggest campaigns and priority growth initiatives, while also leading marketing for new innovation brands including avid hotels in 2018.
He joined IHG in 2015 from The Coca-Cola Company where he worked in strategic roles of increasing responsibility on Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Sprite and the Global Adults portfolio. And, in 2013, TJ was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Marketing and Advertising.
TJ holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
