Vice President of Club Marketing, National Football League (NFL)
Taryn joined the NFL in July of 2019 as Sr Director, Club Marketing – leading a new team and function within the department that is centered around improving connectivity and execution across the 32 Clubs on marketing related initiatives, and in driving increased performance and alignment with Clubs across the NFL ecosystem.
Taryn’s primary role is a liaison and partner to the 32 Club Marketing teams in providing insights on League marketing strategies and priorities, sharing best practices across the marketing mix and close collaboration in identifying local market support opportunities to drive key priorities.
In her short time at the League, Taryn has made an impact in garnering Club support on League initiatives, and in developing key committees to empower Clubs with local program support and enhance the efficacy of marketing initiatives on a local market basis.
Prior to joining the NFL, Taryn spent 8 years at Activision Publishing, where she led the Experiential Marketing planning and development across key video game titles including Call of Duty and Destiny – ranging from global, multi-million dollar press and consumer facing initiatives, celebrity/athlete influencer activations, launch events, partnership efforts and internal/executive events.
During her tenure, her team was awarded the ExAward for Best Press Event (Destiny Community Reveal), Best Proprietary Event (Call of Duty XP), and Best Tradeshow Experience (e3) for delivering creative excellence and driving business results effectively.
Taryn is a SoCal native and spent her early career at TBWA/Chiat/Day, GAP and Deutsch in a variety of account management and integrated marketing roles.
