Sonia is a dynamic, senior-level brand marketing leader with over two decades of experience in launching and positioning brands globally. She currently excels as the Senior Director of Global Marketing at Match Group t owns and operates the largest global portfolio of popular online dating services including Tinder, Match.com, Meetic, OkCupid, Hinge, Plenty of Fish, OurTime, and other dating global brands. In her capacity, she skillfully directs the formulation and execution of brand strategies and marketing initiatives, targeting brands with high growth potential.

Her professional journey includes impactful stints at Fortune 500 companies such as Estée Lauder and Walgreens Boots Alliance. At Estée Lauder, over a span of 7+ years, Sonia successfully launched high-profile fragrances for Michael Kors and Tommy Hilfiger, generating over $80M in retail sales. Her strategic expertise shone at Walgreens Boots Alliance, where she identified and forged strategic partnerships and brand acquisitions projected to yield $150M in new revenues.

Academically, Sonia holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s in Business from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She stands out as one of the few senior-level Black women in the technology industry, blending her creative flair with a strategic mindset to produce optimal consumer engagement and commercial results.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Sonia is deeply committed to social causes. She serves as the Executive Director at My Help Your Help, an NGO dedicated to transforming the lives of the underprivileged in Ghana, including orphans and widows, through education, training, and socio-economic development.
