Global Vice President, Marketing, Global Foods Group, PepsiCo
Sebnem Erim is Vice President of Marketing for Global Brands at PepsiCo. Ms. Erim joined the Global Marketing team in 2016 and is responsible for leading Global Core Brands – Lay’s, Doritos and Cheetos. Her current responsibilities include ensuring profitable growth of PepsiCo’s core brands, development of consumer-centric strategic plans, building purposeful brands, and embedding that into scaled, global brand-building programs and platforms.
Ms. Erim has held a wide range of roles since joining PepsiCo in 1999. She served as Senior Director, Marketing and Strategy, Global Nutrition Group, of PepsiCo AMENA covering India, Asia Pacific, Middle East and North Africa Regions for Quaker and Tropicana. She has also served as the Head of Marketing for Walkers, PepsiCo UK and Ireland, and Head of Marketing for the PepsiCo Turkey business unit. She has a track record of delivering strong business results in both developed and emerging markets as well as successfully building and expanding brands, building strong teams, and delivering award-winning innovation.
Prior to joining PepsiCo, Ms. Erim held leadership roles in top FMCG companies such as SAB Miller, Johnson & Johnson and Colgate-Palmolive, leading Marketing, Innovation, Insights and Corporate Strategy teams.
She received the Asian Female Leadership Award in 2013, which identifies and celebrates the outstanding leadership and the achievements of female leaders in an organization, making changes and achieving results, across private and public companies in AMENA. She has also been awarded three PepsiCo Chairman’s Outstanding Achievement Awards, most recently for the global relaunch of Lay’s Baked.
Ms. Erim holds Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Honors) from Bogazici
University in Turkey.
