Director of Brand Marketing, Taco John's

Sara has always loved the excitement and energy of the restaurant industry, and over the last decade she has worked with several national and local restaurant brands in the development of their brand and menu strategy. Prior to joining the Taco John’s team, Sara led menu and beverage strategy for Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and in 2021 she made the shift from fine dining to QSR.

During her time at Taco John’s, Sara has played a key role in reshaping the brand’s value perception and has been critical in the development of the brand’s product pipeline. In her role as the Director of Brand Marketing, she partners with culinary, consumer insights, operations, supply chain and finance in the development of new product innovations and promotional windows for the brand.

Sara earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Northwest Missouri State and her masters in journalism with a concentration in integrated marketing strategy from the University of Kansas. In her free time, she enjoys exploring all the great things the city of Minneapolis has to offer, reading and traveling with friends.
