Rose Phillips is a Senior Vice President of Digital Marketing for Sony Pictures Worldwide Marketing & Distribution, a division of Sony Pictures Entertainment.

She leads a global team responsible for digital creative and strategy, which includes: social media, website production, mobile marketing, digital strategy, influencer marketing, digital video, media partnerships, online partnerships and content launches. At Sony, she is focused on ‘connecting, communicating and converting’ moviegoers and bringing a data-driven approach to campaigns, while remaining passionate about storytelling regardless of the platform.

At Sony she has helped lead digital campaigns for Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and The Next Level, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far From Home, Little Women Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, as well as genre hits like Don’t Breathe and Searching among many others.

Phillips has built an outstanding reputation, with years of digital and tech industry expertise, including seven years at Yahoo. Whilst there, she led their biggest entertainment and sports initiatives. She built a marketing strategy that established premiere partnerships with all major film studios and theatrical exhibitors, consequently resulting in stronger content and sales relationships. In addition to leading the agenda to grow Yahoo Fantasy Sports, she was instrumental in working across product, editorial and marketing, managing first-time sponsorships and activations at SXSW, as well as Yahoo’s 2010 Vancouver Olympics campaign.

Phillips volunteers with students at Culver City High School’s Academy of Visual & Performing Arts (AVPA) leading marketing workshops for the students. Rose is also a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Phillips holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from Northern Arizona University.
