Rob Rakowitz is the Global Media Head at Mars, Incorporated where partners with business units to define how to get growth from media in an increasing complex and competitive landscape. Rob champions making media pivotal to the Mars growth agenda by using data and technology to better connect communications and commerce. Rob’s mission is to futureproof Mars, grow its media capability and get more intelligent in the way the brands build reach and conversion. Rob leads a team that drove two waves of successive media transformation at Mars. Rob spent his formative years in digital research and consulting, and creative and media agency roles, where he worked with teams to develop business-defining campaigns and strategies. Rob has been recognized for this work at the Cannes Lions, Effies, 4A’s, and the ANA. Rob is also an accomplished competitive cyclist, holding multiple New York State championship titles and having raced for Team USA. This experience has shaped the way he manages individual talent and motivates teams to drive a high performance collaboration into a decentralized organization. Rob lives in New York City and is a grateful husband and proud father. He earned a BA from the State University of New York in Albany, and an International MBA from IE Business School in Madrid.
