Niharika Shah is chief brand officer for Prudential Financial, responsible for managing Prudential’s global brand and reputation. She oversees the company’s in-house Advertising Agency, including brand and content strategy, social media and sponsorship practices, experiential marketing, external agencies and in-house media planning and buying.
Shah brings an emphasis to next-generation marketing enabled by new technologies and changing expectations of people. Through the award-winning “Bring Your Challenges” brand platform, she leads the creation of storytelling and experiential platforms to invigorate brands and energize teams. She is a board member of the Ad Council and advisor to several industry organizations and startups. Previously, Shah led brand and digital marketing for retail, financial services and consumer packaged goods companies.
Shah holds a Bachelor of Engineering in computer science from the University of Mumbai (India) and an MBA in marketing and entrepreneurship from the Rutgers Executive MBA program.
She was awarded the FCS Marketer of the Year Award in 2016.
