Nicole Goldman, Executive Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations and Education Initiatives at The Jim Henson Company, oversees the global marketing, promotions and public relations for all sectors of the Company’s business, including corporate, television, consumer products, home entertainment, international, live theater and online. In her current role, Goldman has been instrumental in the successful launches of key children’s brands, including Sid the Science Kid, Dinosaur Train, Splash and Bubbles and Word Party. Under the Henson Alternative label, she oversaw the launch of the live improvisational puppet show, Puppet Up! – Uncensored. Goldman also proudly celebrates the Company’s legacy and the work of its founder Jim Henson with ongoing PR and promotion of its classic brands like Fraggle Rock, Labyrinth, and The Dark Crystal. Goldman works closely with the Company’s consumer products group and distribution department to support licensing partners and broadcasters around the world. She also collaborates with the Company’s new media department to develop and implement effective social media initiatives like Jim’s Red Book and the new Henson Family Hub. Goldman manages the Company’s corporate website, www.henson.com, as well as dedicated digital communities for Henson brands. Additionally, she oversees the community outreach and supporting educational activities for all of Henson’s preschool productions. Goldman began her career with The Jim Henson Company in 1995, and played an integral role in developing and implementing several successful publicity campaigns for the Muppets, the mini-series “Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars,” and more recently led the national campaigns celebrating the Company’s 60th anniversary and Jim Henson’s 75th birthday in partnership with Google Doodles.
