
Michelle Froah
SVP, Global Marketing Strategy & Sciences, MetLife
An accomplished executive marketer with over two decades of international experience, Michelle Froah, as Senior Vice President Global Brand & Marketing, is responsible for defining customer strategies to better anticipate and deliver on customer needs for brand and business growth opportunities while measuring impact through analytics. Michelle also sits on the CEO’s Strategic Advisory Group and the DEI Leadership Council.
Michelle joined MetLife from Samsung Electronics America, where she led the digital transformation strategy to move the company to a consumer-centric lifecycle as well as the marketing and brand re-building efforts in the aftermath of the Note7 recall, helping to re-establish trust with consumers.
Prior to this, she has had international senior roles that built brands, innovation and commercial programs from end to end with Kimberly-Clark and Procter & Gamble. At K-C she served as Asia Pacific regional CMO responsible for marketing capability and innovation across the region after joining as the Global Feminine Care Director responsible to relaunch and build Kotex to a $1 billion global brand. She also served as a Senior Leader in Beauty Care at Procter & Gamble with roles across operations, sales and global brand management on brands like Pantene and COVERGIRL.
Michelle contributes to the industry by participating on the Ad Council Board of Directors, The Marketing Society New York Board as Co-Chair, Brand Innovators Advisory Board, ANA CMO Growth Council, Chairman of Brandable Pte. Ltd. and Rye Art Center Board. She holds an MBA from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
