Global Media Director, Digital, Google
Michael is part of the Media Lab team within Google Marketing. His team manages Google’s advertising presence across all digitally-connected screens; focused on planning and optimizing Google’s search, display, mobile, digital video, connected TVs, search and paid social presence. This team supports all consumer and ad product online media including Search, Nest, Google Pixel, Chromebooks, Google Play, and Apps among others.
Prior to joining Google in 2011, Michael was Senior Vice President of Digital Marketing at Bank of America. There, he built a digital center of excellence and search marketing practice. In addition to Bank of America, Michael’s career also includes roles at several advertising agencies working with brands including MasterCard, BMW, Audi of America & US Air Force.
Michael is originally from North Carolina and studied at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He lives in Berkeley, California with his wife Kelly and twin boys, Aidan and Flynn.
