Creative Director, Delta Airlines
Maya is an accomplished leader who has been a cornerstone of the marketing strategies of numerous multi-billion-dollar companies. As the Creative Director at Delta Air Lines, Maya is credited with driving a recruiting plan that has doubled the design and creative operations team and grown its capabilities exponentially in her first year – increasing YOY output by 309% in 2021.
Well-versed in directing revenue-generating creative, Maya has been the driving force for internationally and nationally recognized campaigns, like Delta’s Winter Olympics Beijing 2022 Look of the Games and Comcast NBCU’s 2018 Winter Olympics.
In addition to driving profits, Maya has emerged as a diversity, equality, and inclusion leader through her role as the Communications Officer for WomenAtJackHenry, her work with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, Atlanta Black Chambers, Giving Tuesday, and as a board member for ARTportunity Knocks.
Maya also teaches an undergraduate marketing course centered around creative disruption at Georgia State University.
Throughout her career, Maya has been most proud of the diverse creative teams she has led and has been honored to mentor and provide professional development for aspiring female leaders within her groups and community. Maya, her husband of 23 years, and two children are proud “ATLiens.”
