Marty Shelata is Senior Vice President, Automotive Partnerships at Ampersand, a data-driven advertising sales and technology company which enables advertisers to reach their audiences with precision and scale in a multiscreen TV environment. In his role, Marty leads Ampersand’s dedicated auto team, partnering with auto marketers and agencies to streamline media across tiers and connect with consumers from the point of initial consideration to purchase. By leveraging audience insights and brand ad exposure from Ampersand’s vast deterministic data set, the Auto Partnerships team delivers holistic national-local audience-based TV planning, buying & measurement under one roof.
Prior to joining Ampersand, Marty spent 17 years at NBCUniversal, where, as VP Portfolio Sales and Client Partnerships, he led strategic development of advanced advertising solutions for national brands. He has also held sales leadership roles at AOL, Viacom and Paramount. He received his bachelor’s degree in advertising from Michigan State University.
