Vice President of Marketing, Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx

Marissa Blomstrom is a strategic, creative, and innovative brand marketing leader with a strong record of ideating, developing and executing high-impact marketing solutions.

Marissa is currently the Vice President of Marketing for the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx.  In her role, she oversees the brands, campaigns, media, research, retail offering and creative team. She is currently leading the campaign for the Lynx first ever single-site season, strategizing and executing various deliverables to keep fans engaged and informed on the Lynx’s unique season.

Prior to joining the Timberwolves & Lynx, Marissa worked at other iconic organizations including Target, 3M, and Pottery Barn Kids/Williams-Sonoma. 

At Target, Marissa led the strategy and execution of some of Target’s largest brand campaigns, including work on the Tarzhay Everyday campaign, as well as the development of the Good & Gather brand. At 3M, Marissa was responsible for leading specialty notes for the Post-it Brand.

Marissa received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also received her MBA in Marketing from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  

Marissa lives in the Minneapolis area and loves spending time with friends and family, being at the lake and rocking out to pop hits on her Peloton.
