Marcus Sandifer is the Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Celsius, Inc. The fastest growing energy drink company in the world. At Celsius, Marcus is responsible for defending Celsius in litigation disputes, labor and employment matters, IP infringement and SEC civil investigations, Corporate Governance and drafting and negotiating brand and endorsement deals for professional and college athletes, actors, models, and other public figures.
He joined Celsius from DLA Piper LLP in Atlanta, Georgia where he was an associate in the Litigation & Regulatory Practice Group. Marcus obtained his B.S. in Business Administration from Florida A&M University, where he was a National Merit and Presidential Scholar and later obtained his Juris Doctor Degree Emory University School of Law where he was a Sutherland Scholar, Dean’s Fellow, recognized as the Most Outstanding 3L at Commencement, and most recently awarded the Emory Law Young Alumni Award.
He brings a vast wealth of experience to Celsius with prior In-House legal work experience at The Coca-Cola Company and FOCUS Brands and brand experience as a Sr. Supply Chain Manager at PepsiCo in the Gatorade division Nestle Waters working on premium brands such as Perrier and San Pellegrino. Marcus has been recognized by Black Enterprise Magazine’s top 100 “Modern Men”, American Healthcare Leader, American Bar Association, Legacy Magazine’s “Most Powerful and Influential Black Business Leaders” and The National Black Lawyers as “40 Under 40.”
