Chief Marketing Officer, International, The Wendy's Company
Liz Geraghty has been a marketing leader at The Wendy’s Company since 2007 and has served in a variety of brand marketing and innovation roles. In March 2020, Liz was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer, International, with a focus on Operations Services, New Product Development, Digital, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain. Liz is an integral member of our Global Leadership Team where she continues to elevate thought leadership and raise the bar on how we bring our brand and customer experience to life across the globe.
Previously, Liz was responsible International Marketing and Operations and prior to that helped build 1:1 relationships with North American consumers through high-touch digital engagement, restaurant merchandising, and best-in-class local marketing.
Liz started her career in the packaged goods industry, beginning at Keebler Company where she worked alongside the famous Elves to create and commercialize new cookie recipes. Later, she joined Sara Lee Foods ultimately leading new product innovation, brand strategy, and marketing for brands like Jimmy Dean, Hillshire Farms and Sara Lee.
Liz holds a BS in Microbiology and an MS in Food Science from the University of Illinois and an MBA in Marketing from Northwestern University. She is a member of the board of Syntero, a non- profit behavioral health provider in Central Ohio. She is also past chair of the Women’s Foodservice Forum Mentor Committee.
A native Chicagoan, Liz met her Columbus-born husband, Webster Schooley, in the Windy City more than 20 years ago. They are parents to two terrific daughters, Grace and Laine.
