Lindsay Rider serves as Senior Director,Public Affairs and Brand Engagement for Carter’s Inc., the largest brandedmarketer of baby and children’s apparel in the U.S.
Lindsay joined Carter’s in January 2020,forming the company’s first formal in-house Public Relations and Communicationsfunction in its 150+ yearhistory. Within a year, she was elevated to a Senior Director role overseeing ateam of five and leading communications across consumer, corporate and social.She brings 15+ years of marketing and communications experience across bothagency and in-house roles to Carter’s Inc. and its family of brands,including Carter’s, OshKosh B’gosh, Little Planet and Skip Hop.
Lindsay previously oversaw communicationsinitiatives with Spanx as a Senior Public Relations Manager, spearheadingimpactful consumer campaigns, as well as brand press and serving as the leadpublicist for Spanx Founder, Sarah Blakely. Prior to joining Carter’s, Lindsayfounded Apartment 9 LLC, an independent consulting firm where she supportedconsumer clients through various marketing and communications initiatives.
Lindsay began her career with Akhia, afull-service marketing and communications agency, where for eight years sherose from an Assistant Account Executive to a Senior Account Director, leadingthe firm’s consumer account service teams.
