Kelsey Philpott is the Head of Marketing for the New York Rangers. He currently oversees brand, marketing communications, social media, and community relations for the hockey club. Kelsey also serves on the NHL’s Fan Inclusion Committee, which is a subset of its larger Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Prior to the New York Rangers, Kelsey spent eight years at the global sponsorship and experiential firm, GMR Marketing, helping Fortune 500 companies apply their brand strategy to develop
business-driving sponsorship portfolios. A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Kelsey is a former mediocre 5’9” goaltender that smartly realized his best avenue to working in pro sports was an MBA from the University of Oregon’s Warsaw Sports Marketing Center.
