Karl plays a key role on the Samsung Ads sales team, overseeing all media and entertainment clients. His background has focused on bridging tech with media, as well as advancing the video industry across both linear and digital. Specifically, Karl was instrumental in developing some of the first Advanced TV ad products such as, DVR/time-shifting, Addressable TV, ad supported VOD/OTT/CTV, and the use of ACR TV measurement to address the increasing shift in viewing behavior. He has made his impact working with iconic brands including DIRECTV, TiVo, Discovery Communications and Microsoft/XBOX.
