Over the past 25 years John has built a reputation for being a people-first marketer and team builder. At AT&T he’s led large-scale Digital Marketing initiatives, award-winning Social Media programs, and currently runs advertising for AT&T’s entire business portfolio.

But the constant in his career – whether working in a global organization like Microsoft, or in a fast-paced Chinese startup – has been the use of technology to improve customer experiences. In fact, John is an outspoken industry advocate for ‘Human-to-Human Marketing.’

As adjunct faculty in the Cox School of Business at SMU (Southern Methodist University), John has developed a unique curriculum on personal branding and social marketing for the Latino Leadership Initiative. Whether teaching large classes, small group consulting, 1:1 mentoring, or advocating in social media, John is committed to ‘pulling up’ fellow Latinos.

John is very much a citizen of the world, having lived and worked across the Americas, Western Europe, and Asia. But most importantly, John is a father who spends his best hours exploring the outdoors with his family.
