As head of brand and advertising for AT&T Business, John brings a mix of science and humanity to the art of advertising. As an outspoken advocate of Human-to-Human Marketing, his team creates campaigns that strive to educate and assist customers versus selling to them as a faceless company.
Before joining AT&T in 2013, John built the global Social and Digital groups at HTC which consistently outranked their competitors for consumer engagement. And over nearly a decade with Microsoft, he held senior marketing and communications roles where he established a customer-driven product development model still being used today. John is a regular speaker at industry events, recognized as an advocate for corporate transparency and customer engagement. John is very much a citizen of the world, having lived and worked across N. America, Western Europe and Asia. A graduate of Brigham Young University & the Cox School of Business at SMU, John is passionate about the outdoors, cycling and his large Latino family.
