Jason McClelland is Shutterstock’s Chief Marketing Officer and a member of the Executive Committee. In his role as CMO, Jason is responsible for developing an integrated global marketing strategy that elevates the Shutterstock brand, accelerates growth across channels, and drives Shutterstock’s long-term vision. Jason joined the company in April 2022, and brings decades of experience leading both e-Commerce and Enterprise/SMB marketing strategies that drive long-term growth, with a proven track record in building marketing teams for high performance. Most recently, Jason served as CMO of hyper-growth company, Algolia, which provides a search and discovery platform powering one in eight web experiences daily. Jason helped Algolia uplevel their brand and build their Enterprise go-to-market. Previously, Jason was the CMO of Heroku (a Salesforce company), where he helped develop their Product-Led Growth (PLG) and eCommerce-to-Enterprise selling motion. Prior to Salesforce, Jason spent the majority of his career at Adobe, where he was a key part of the creation of Adobe’s Marketing Cloud (the first Marketing Cloud in the industry), as well as Adobe’s Creative Cloud SaaS Transformation. Jason holds a B.S. in Marketing, Business Administration from San Jose State University, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
