Jarrod Dicker is an entrepreneurial media and technology executive. He is currently VP of innovation and commercial strategy at the Washington Post and founder of RED, the Post’s research experimentation and development team. As the Post’s “Chief Experimenter” oversees the companies commercial technology, product, operations and strategy across the entire business. He is leading the charge to transform the media industry by instituting a build first mentality when it comes to the products that fuel the business of media. These technologies are built to transcend the Washington Post and influence the entire media industry with RED licensing through Arc Publishing. Prior to the Washington Post, Dicker lead product and technology teams at RebelMouse, Time Inc. and the Huffington Post. He also sits on the Board of Advisors for Rutgers University School of Innovation , mentor at Techstars IoT, advisor at Fans.com and advisor at Mogul Inc., a technology platform that enables women worldwide to share ideas and access content based on personal interests. In 2017, the Washington Post’s RED group was named one of the most interesting ad-tech upstarts by Business Insider.
