Based in the New York City area, Janelle is a cultural strategist and marketer with a passion for helping brands authentically connect with historically excluded communities. She has extensive experience building and executing strategies that drive results. She has established a reputation as a radically inclusive leader that amplifies the diverse, expert voices of teams to deliver brand-defining activations and campaigns. Janelle began her career at a commercial finance organization where she supported employee and customer communication efforts. She later went on to work for a small retailer, an experience that fueled her to pursue an MBA with a focus on consumer behavior. Post-MBA, Janelle went on to join the Target Corporation’s marketing organization before transitioning to Walmart, Inc. where she now leads Cultural Engagement Strategy for Walmart US.
