A ten-time Emmy®-nominated television producer, Halle Stanford leads the Company’s development and production of all television, home entertainment, and digital media in animated and live-action formats establishing the company’s creative culture across all territories.
Stanford joined The Jim Henson Company in 1993 and worked on Muppet Treasure Island, Muppets Tonight, Bear in the Big Blue House, as well as the Sci-f cult classic Farscape. She recently executive produced the Netflix series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance as well as The Dinosaur Train Movie for Universal Entertainment and PBS KIDS®. Over the course of her 25 year career at the Jim Henson Company she has sold and produced over 70 projects some of which include: the Netflix Original Word Party; the marine biology series Splash and Bubbles for PBS KIDS®; the NBCUniversal Kids/CBC animated series Dot,; the NBCUniversal/ Hulu Original preschool show Doozers; the Emmy®-nominated Sid the Science Kid; and the award winning Dinosaur Train for PBS KIDS®;
Halle is a recipient of the Cynopsis Kids !magination Award in Content Leadership, and for the last sixteen years has garnered at least 100 honors around the globe for the company’s programming.
In addition to her professional work, Halle is proud to be a mom to two sons (ages 9 and 22!) and three dogs, on the Board of the Independent Shakespeare Company, a Cub Scout Leader of Pack 42, and to lead the charge on an endless quest to enrich the lives of children around the globe.
