Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, Bloomingdales
Frank Berman is the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Bloomingdale’s.
Frank began his career with Bloomingdale’s in October 1991 as the Housewares Business Manager. In 1994, Frank was promoted to Buyer of Food and Candy and was then named Buyer of Cookware and Cutlery. In 1997, Frank moved over to the marketing side of the business with a promotion to the Director of Customer Loyalty Programs and Credit Marketing. In 2000, he assumed responsibility for International Marketing and Account Services and was promoted to Operating Vice President.
In 2001, Frank was named Operating Vice President of Marketing for Loyalty, International Programs, Campaign Planning and Advertising Media. Two years later in 2003, Frank was promoted to Vice President, and in 2006, he assumed additional responsibility for Customer Relationship Management. In 2008 Frank was promoted to Senior Vice President for Marketing, adding Marketing Strategy, Analytics, Advertising Production, Image Editing, Account Services, Marketing Finance and Restaurants to his role.
In 2013 was named the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, his current title. In this role, Frank’s scope of responsibility once again expanded to include Integrated Marketing in 2018.
Frank is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management.
Frank is actively involved in multiple philanthropic organizations including the Child Mind Institute. He resides in the New York City area with his wife and two daughters.
