Fran Hazeldine leads marketing for TV and Mobile Services at Samsung Electronics America. In his role, Hazeldine oversees integrated marketing, public relations, and social media efforts for the company’s award-winning offerings, including free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) and video-on-demand service, Samsung TV Plus; console-free cloud gaming platform Samsung Gaming Hub; and Samsung Art Store, which transforms select Samsung Smart TV screens into displays for digital art. Hazeldine also holds responsibility for the marketing of popular Galaxy device services such as Galaxy Store and Samsung News.
With expertise in brand strategy and marketing-driven growth, Fran has played a key role in the successful global relaunch and rebranding of Samsung TV Plus, one of the first streaming platforms by a TV manufacturer that today brings premium, free news, entertainment, and bingeworthy content to users via more than 1,900 channels across 24 countries. In 2022 he also oversaw the global go-to-market for Samsung Gaming Hub, a revolutionary game streaming experience built into Samsung TVs and Monitors. The Gaming Hub platform was launched in partnership with Xbox and has since been promoted at major gaming events including Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards.
Prior to joining Samsung, Fran held leadership roles at Google, YouTube, ViacomCBS, and global advertising agency, Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH). He has been responsible for global brand redesigns, strategic campaigns, product launches, and corporate impact initiatives. In addition to his industry experience in tech and entertainment, Hazeldine brings a holistic perspective on marketing and communications through his experience working across luxury apparel, retail, consumer goods, and non-profit, among other industries.
