Ed is a brand visionary with over 20 years of experience developing several Fortune 100 and pinnacle brands like Nike, Levi Strauss, The Home Depot, New Era Cap, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and now Planet Fitness. He also was a Partner/CMO of Omni-Culture, Inc assisting companies with brand development, marketing, and omnichannel strategies before joining Planet Fitness (PLNTF Holdings). Edward has an extensive background in almost every facet of the marketing mix including digital, omnichannel retail, influencer marketing, research, promotions, media planning, merchandising, sales, budget management, and production. He has planned and executed marketing on every level from large-scale award-winning global and national campaigns to field and multi cultural marketing programs. His most recent expertise is centered around the rise of emerging engagement platforms, the exponential rate of retail disruption, and the impact of social change on brands. Edward has been a Contributor/Writer for Forbes and has been quoted in multiple articles. He also has been a keynote speaker and panelist for numerous brand and retail industry conferences while serving on the Executive Board of multiple non-profit organizations in the Chicago area. Edward graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Advertising and earned his MBA from Mercer University in Atlanta, but currently resides in his hometown of Chicago.
