VP of Brand, Creative and Communications, Credit Karma
Dana Marineau is the Vice President of Brand, Creative and Communications at Credit Karma. In her current role, Dana is charged with elevating a beloved brand with more than 85 million members that until recently has been best known for just free credit scores. Dana led a recent rebrand for Credit Karma that leans into championing financial progress for our members and brings to life what a credit score can unlock in a relatable way. The creative to support the rebrand does just that, showing how mundane, day-to-day financial choices can lead to financial fulfillment in the new “Here’s to Progress” campaign.
Prior to Credit Karma, Dana was a marketing executive at Electronic Arts for over 15 years, leading global advertising, design and creative for video game brands, including FIFA, Madden NFL, Need for Speed and Battlefield. Under Dana’s leadership, Electronic Arts saw some of the most memorable and award-winning creative in the history of gaming, including Madden Season and the Giferator, which won seven awards combined at Cannes Lions.
When she’s not at work, Dana loves to spend time with her husband and two sons. She is an avid basketball fan and cheers the loudest for the Golden State Warriors and the Blue Devils of Duke University, her alma mater.
